Internship Role
A graphic designer (print/motion) with a firm grounding in design principles, you can tell what is good and poor design in an instant. You may have designed for prints and other mediums, and you recognize that designing for digital medium is what you look forward in exceling in now. Most people respect you for your attention for details, being able to spot alignments and inaccurate fonts from a mile away. You love challenging the boundaries of client's brand guides, producing awesome standout work, that somewhat didn't outright break any guidelines. You get excited to see your work come to life, through the collaboration with a team of motion graphics artists.
What you will do
Strong attention to detail, particularly with things such as alignment, typography, colours and placements, in relation to client brand guidelines.
Having experience in developing event or campaign key visual will be advantageous, although not a pre-requisite.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics animation on After Effects will be advantageous.
Assisting Creative Director in handling social media posting artworks and etc.
Expertise in the any of the following areas:
Branding Design (Corporate and Consumer Brands -- Logo Design, Brand Asset Creation, Namecard and Corporate Collaterals, Illustration)
Social Media Asset Design
Packaging Design (Labels, Complex Packaging, 3D Design, Artwork File Creation)
Motion Graphics (Simple Motion Graphics, 3D Animation)
Requirements
Internship at Graphic/Advertising agency
Skilled in Visual Communication, Interactive Motion Design, or other related fields.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
Strong communication, conceptual thinking
Good understanding of Typography and Visual Communication
Loves to present complex concepts into infographics
Thrive working in a fast paced environment
Knowing animation & After Effects is a bonus, though not mandatory
