Tasks & Responsibilities
The Human Relations (HR) team in Mercedes-Benz Singapore offers a unique and valuable opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related fields. The role involves diverse responsibilities within HR functions, providing you a platform to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, fostering your growth and play a part in contributing to the success of the organization. As an HR intern, you will be an integral part of our team, and be responsible for managing end-to-end process of internship management, participating in employee relations initiatives, ensuring compliance with HR policies and employment laws, handling HR administrative tasks, and contributing to various HR projects and initiatives.
Intern Recruitment & Management
• Manage the entire intern lifecycle, from job postings to onboarding and off-boarding, ensuring a seamless process.
• Coordinate internship schedules with different universities and provide guidance to business units on intern hiring procedures.
• Continuously enhance internship processes for optimal efficiency.
• Employee Relations
• Participate in employee engagement activities to cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere.
• Assist in maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Provide support for employee engagement initiatives and assist in coordinating activities/events organized by the internal Social Committee.
Compliance
• Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures throughout the organization.
• Support compliance efforts concerning employment laws and regulations
HR Shared Services & Projects
• Oversee various HR administrative tasks, including managing personnel e-files, office access cards, and My HR Service tickets.
• Facilitate HR communications and updates, and contribute to HR projects and initiatives.
• Assist in organizing new hire inductions, lunch talks, and the preparation of HR presentation materials, as well as updating internal HR workflows.
• Assist in managing and responding to employee queries and requests submitted through our internal service platform, My HR Service.
• And any other reasonable assigned tasks.
