Job Description

A real estate subsidiary of NTUC Enterprise that own and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties in Singapore is looking for a Technical Officer for Thomson Plaza.

 General Summary

Based in the mall and as a key member in a multi-functional team, you will be responsible to assist Operations Manager in managing the daily operations, as well as executing operations strategies to improve the facilities.

  • Lead and supervise a team of in-house technicians in performing preventive & corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing to facilities.
  • Manage, follow up and report back to operations team/management on progress of maintenance and rectification works.
  • Attend to enquiries, complaints of breakdown, service requests of repairing & servicing regarding M&E matters from tenants.
  • Ensure that all operational issues and emergencies are attended promptly & rectified with minimal inconvenience & disruption.
  • Prepare cost estimates for repair work specifications, invitation for quotation/tender, evaluation, and recommendation for award of quotation/tender.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and/or Leasing departments on their requests such as readiness of promotion space, M&E and building work provisions for pop-up/temporary stores, etc.
  • Experience in supervising junior staff; plan and upload roster, verify attendance and overtime timely in time management system.
  • Compilation of asset documents/plans/warranties/instruction manuals etc and other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Building / Property / Facility Management
  • Experience in in Facilities Management / Building Services / M & E Operations in commercial building or shopping mall environment is preferred
  • Fire Safety Manager’s Certificate will be an added advantage
  • Experience in supervising junior staff is preferred
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
