The Project Manager reports into the account manager and will manage a team of 20 media analyst to ensure smooth execution of deliverables within the contracted scope of work. He/She would need to engage in media research and analysis and lead the team by example.
Role & responsibilities
On a Daily Basis what you can expect:
- Constant close communication with all team members, including:
- Scheduling of shifts for team members (if any)
- Evaluating effectiveness of each team member on the job
- Successful and sustainable delegation of adhoc tasks to each team member
- Working side-by-side media analysts, if and when necessary
- Implementation of new scope of work (if and when necessary) into workflow and team workload
- Lead discussions on report design, report scoping for the client
- Forecast client requests and managing the team's expectations
- Forecast manpower requirements constantly to management
- Constant updates to management on potential issues within team, workflow, workload etc.
- Fully familiar and constantly updating with internal software tools
- Full knowledge of technical and manpower limitations
- Constantly abreast with local, international news & public affairs.
Skills & Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field &/OR certified PMP professional is highly desirable
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in project management field
- Strong MS Excel skills
Preferred Requirements
- Demonstrated experience structuring complex deals and managing the delivery of solutions to customers
- Confident communicator, organized, proactive and capable leader
- Excellent Interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships essential to successfully execute this role.
- Strong problem-solving
- Adept at search/research & analytic software tools i.e. Boolean searches etc.
- Strong consultation background in methodologies and best practices
