Job Summary
As the Project Manager (Web Design) intern of Mediaplus Digital, you will have a great learning opportunity to grow and better manage a project and at the same time be WordPress web designer. Over here, we develop custom WordPress themes, you will be learning from us and eventually you will become a WordPress legend within the industry!
Responsibilities and Duties
You would assist us in the following web design tasks:
- Creating website designs
- Producing sample sites
- Demonstrating and receiving feedback about draft sites
- Keeping up to date with recent technological and software developments
- Developing skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages such as HTML , CSS and Javascript
- Creating products that are user-friendly, effective and appealing
- Digital retouching and image editing
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Manage schedules, prioritize deliverables, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon
- Manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service and act on client feedback
- Communicate and document project status to clients and team members on a regular basis
Qualifications and Skills
- Passionate about learning and growing in the niche of web design, WordPress development and UI/UX.
- Have a good eye for design, believe in human centered design
- Able to create web design mock ups
- Understand mobile responsive design
- Experience with WordPress
- Skilled in HTML5/CSS3, JS / J-query Scripting
- Interested in learning SEO
- Time Management
- Communicate well with client
