Martiangear is a Singapore based gaming accessories company.
Although we are just getting started, but we have big plans.
Martiangear is on a mission to unlock human's full potential by giving them access to the galaxy's best equipment to create, play and work better!
Our website and first product category, a series of Gaming chairs will go live in Singapore in November 2020. We will then rapidly expand into new product categories and new countries.
Because we believe that business is the best platform to improve the state of the world, we have integrated a clear philanthropy model into Martiangear's corporate priorities since day 1.
Martiangear pledged to donate 1% of its profit, product and time to improve communities in need throughout the world.
You will:
Work directly with Martiangear founders who are experienced veterans from top-tier Silicon-Valley companies
Be immersed in the early days of a start-up life and experience exciting moments like first product launch and seed fund raising.
Drive high-priority initiatives that will shape the growth of the organization
Run growth experiments and ideating on effective marketing acquisition strategies (offline and online)
Be responsible to produce high-quality creative content (Text, Image and Video) for social media and website
Creating video content that entertains and engages audiences (yes, you might become a famous youtuber by the end of your internship!)
Drive sales via by developing affiliates programs, offline sales in our showroom and B2B Enterprise sales. You will get trained on value-based selling used by Silicon Valley based tech companies and you will get extra compensation based on your sales results.
Assist with other cross-functional ad-hoc tasks
What we are looking for:
Excellent digital illustration and retouching skills using editing software for photo and video (Photoshop etc.)
Previous experience (internship, side-project) in graphic design with a portfolio of experience
Deep understanding of all major Social Media platforms
Student currently undergoing a Bachelor/ Diploma in a relevant design discipline or the equivalent preferred (students from other fields may apply with a portfolio showcasing their creative work)
Self-motivated individual who proactively takes ownerships of projects and gets things done
Ability to work with tight deadlines while operating in a demanding and fast-paced environment
Able to commit for a min. 3 months full-time internship (6 months preferred)
Ability to commute daily to Martiangear office located in Eunos (ability for WFH somedays too)
Passion for and knowledge of the gaming industry is a plus
