About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Admin & Marketing Intern to support the daily administrative operations and marketing initiatives of our childcare centre. This internship provides hands-on experience in office administration, customer service, social media marketing, event coordination, and educational services.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Assist with daily office administration and documentation.
- Maintain and organize student records and filing systems.
- Handle enquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
- Support enrolment and registration processes.
- Manage inventory of office and classroom supplies.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and schedules.
- Assist with data entry and record maintenance.
Marketing Support
- Create engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Design marketing materials such as posters, flyers, and digital content using tools like Canva.
- Capture photos and videos of centre activities (with appropriate consent).
- Assist in planning and promoting centre events, open houses, and campaigns.
- Update the centre's website and social media pages.
General Duties
- Provide excellent customer service to parents and visitors.
- Assist with reception duties when required.
- Support teachers and management during centre events.
- Perform other administrative and marketing tasks assigned by the principal.
Requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Canva and social media platforms is an advantage.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Positive attitude, willing to learn, and a good team player.
- Comfortable interacting with parents, children, and staff in a professional manner.
