Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised intern to support our Programme team in

delivering meaningful experiences to children and families. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about bringing joy to others and gaining hands-on experience in events, volunteer coordination, and content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programme Delivery Support

Assist in planning and executing wish granting activities, ensuring smooth logistics and meaningful experiences for wish children and families.

• Volunteer Management

Support coordination of volunteers, especially in preparation for our Annual Volunteer Meeting in January.

• Wish Alumni Engagement

Help plan and coordinate activities for our Wish Alumni community, including our annual Family Day in December.

• Content Creation

Work with the team to gather stories, photos, and testimonials from programme activities to create content for marketing and communications.

• Event Support

Be part of the organising team for our wish alumni events, supporting logistics, promotion, and participant engagement.

• Any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the organisation

Ideal Candidate - Requirements & Skills 

• A heart for our mission and interest in the non-profit sector

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Comfortable working with children and families

• Able to work independently and in a team

• Basic content creation or design skills (e.g. Canva, social media) a plus

Working Hours

9am – 6pm, 5-day work week at the Make-A-Wish Singapore office

Some weekend and after-office-hours work is required. Time off in lieu will be provided.
