Who We Are Looking For?
Job Title: Assistant Brand Business Manager (Intern)
Duration: 24-week Internship
Industry: Wholesale & Retail Trade (Eye-wear)
Location: Singapore (Luxottica SEA Pte Ltd)
What’s In It For You?
Reporting to the Assistant Brand Business Manager, you will maintain current analysis of brand business performance and understanding of consumer insights to assist the Brand Manager in defining and implementing brand growth strategies.
You will get the opportunity to own the operational implementation of all approved brand ATL/BTL and Trade Marketing plans by working with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
You will also be involved in providing support to the in-campaign launch by attending quarterly kickoff meetings with Commercial and Trade Marketing teams.
Throughout the internship, you will get be monitoring the brand business performance and analyzing marketing activities along with teams across SEA region.
What You’ll Be Doing?
Brand Business Planning & Execution
- Robust and current business analysis, based on internal and external data sources, with an objective to assess exceptions and recommend corrective actions / learning to be built into future plans.
- Providing support for the Assistant Brand Business Manager in defining annual and midterm brand business plan in accordance with market dynamics and global brand guidelines
- Work with all country teams (both Commercial and TM) to ensure proper implementation of all trade marketing plans
- Work with Global Brand team for resolution in regard to operational needs for implementing brand plans
Brand Communication & Coordination
- Understand key Asian consumer segments; Gain insight into the decision making of Asian consumers
- Work with Assistant Brand Business Manager in designing of the brand communication
- Collaborate with Media/external agencies on implementation of approved plans.
- Work alongside with Assistant Brand Business Manager and Trade Marketing Manager on designing and implementing annual calendar for trade level brand communication
- Own all BTL activation implementations by working closely with internal stakeholders (Purchase, Trade Marketing) and external agencies. Close coordination with marketing teams across SEA region to ensure alignment.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- Currently pursuing an relevant postgraduate program from a reputable institution*
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint & Excel
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and hands-on environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in English are mandatory and preferably bilingual in an Asian language to manage different markets across SEA region
- A creative thinker who is confident and have excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills across all levels in a matrix, culturally diverse environment
- Possess at least 2 to 4 years relevant work experience, preferably in Brand Management/Marketing with exposure in handling APAC/SEA region(s)
- Ability to commit for the entire 6-month duration
*Must be able to work and live in Singapore for the entire duration of internship prior to application
