Freelance Korean - English Translator (Intern/Temporary)
Role Description
This is a Temporary, Freelance Translator (Korean to English) role based in Singapore. The translator will be responsible for accurately translating original business document materials from Korean to English, ensuring linguistic and cultural accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate raw material ingredient lists, food composition documents, and related regulatory materials from Korean to English.
- Ensure that translations accurately reflect ingredient names, measurements, and compliance terminology.
- Maintain cultural and contextual understanding in translations relevant to the food and raw materials sector.
- And translate any other relevant documents as needed
Qualifications
- Native-level fluency in Korean and professional working proficiency in English
- Fluent in Translation and English Translation between Korean and English
- Experience in Interpreting and Communication
- Strong Writing skills
- Attention to detail and understanding of cultural nuances
- Proficiency in time management and meeting deadlines
- A bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is advantageous
