Job Description

As business development intern, you will assist the business development manager/strategist to increase sales through lead generation, marketing, and other corporate strategies. Your job duties may include identifying and contacting prospective customers or partner companies, promoting the business online and via word-of-mouth, and creating client proposals and contracts. The goal of the internship is to gain valuable work experience and skills to start your career in business development. 


As a BD intern, you are expected to

  • Assist in the development of business strategies by using data and statistical analysis to identify potential company to collaborate with
  • Identify trends and market opportunities in Singapore
  • Attend conferences to source more leads, schedule meetings, and have face-to-face meetings
  • Gathering a pool of desirable leads for the various Business Development teams to work with every month
  • Build strategic relationships with merchants and educate them on utilizing our products and services
  • Innovate and improve business development strategies with the team


Skills required

  • Self-motivated and growth-oriented individual
  • Possess good communication skills, strong people agility and enjoys interacting and forming relationships with partners
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Detail oriented, strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Analytical and comfortable with data, Microsoft Excel skills will be advantageous
  • Creative and innovative approach to problem solving
  • Positive, team-player, and energetic attitude
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment
