Job Description

Operations Trainee - Reconciliation and Reporting Services (12 months)

Responsibilities:

(1) Reconciliation:

• Perform cash, margin, securities, derivatives and net asset value reconciliation

• Investigate, identify, follow up and resolve reconciliation discrepancies with counterparties and custodians within timelines

(2) Reporting:

• Generate/prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports for internal and external parties

• Attend to queries from clients on monthly valuation reports

• Assist in preparation of unitholders’ reporting semi-annually and annually

• Prepare numbers for regulatory surveys

• Participate in process improvement and ad-hoc initiatives/projects undertaken by the team

Requirements:

• Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in 2019/2020

• Good number sense

• Meticulous

• Willing to learn

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Technical Skills and Competencies Trainee will learn:

• Product knowledge : Learn about the different types of investment instruments, fund structures and products from a back office’s perspective

• Technical skills : Fund accounting and analysis, cash and security reconciliation, reporting skills

• Soft skills : Communication/interpersonal skills, teamwork, time management, analytics and problem solving
