The Trade and database services sits within the Operations team and is responsible for ensuring all trade instructions are matched and released in a timely manner, the team is also responsible for updating and maintaining Settlement Standing Instructions.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that trades are promptly matched and settlement instructions are timely processed
• Generate Bloomberg and SWIFT reports for EOD completeness check
• Check long form confirmations for OTC derivatives; follow up with Counterparties and Legal for any discrepancies
• Update settlement standing instructions (SSI) and disseminate the SSI documents to brokers
• Process monthly soft-commission report
• Perform ad-hoc duties or projects assigned by manager
• Assist on administrative duties for the team

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree Undergraduates (preferably with banking & finance or economics background)
• Ability to multi-task and priorities issues to resolve them before the cut-off times.
• Confident in communicating to internal stakeholders and external parties.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
•  Meticulous and responsible individual.
• Team Player
• Knowledge of Settlement Standing Instructions.
• Proficient in Omgeo CTM, ALERT, Bloomberg and SWIFT will be an added advantage
• Internship period: Aug 2021 - Dec 2021, Full Time (Mon-Fri)
