Lily & Co – Event Operations Intern

Lily & Co. is dedicated to creating beautiful weddings with the perfect details. Established since 2016, we are helmed by our team of experienced wedding planners and stylists. We are currently expanding our team and if you have an eye for aesthetics and design, a strong passion for flowers and LOVE events, we would love to have you onboard!

The Events Operations Intern role is a great entry level role into the wedding industry where you will be coordinating the execution and operations required for actual day weddings and/or celebrations including but not limited to proposals, anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers.

Main responsibilities 

- Assist with event preparation, including packing, inventory checks, and loading/unloading of event materials.

- Support the on-site setup, styling, and teardown of event venues.

- Coordinate with vendors and event partners, including florists, photographers, balloon vendors, venues, and other suppliers, to ensure smooth event execution.

- Assist in monitoring event timelines and ensuring all setup milestones are completed on schedule.

- Handle the transportation, organisation, and maintenance of event décor, equipment, and supplies.

- Provide on-site operational support and troubleshoot minor issues during event setup and execution.

- Ensure event materials are packed, stored, and returned in good condition after each event.

- Perform administrative and operational tasks related to event preparation as assigned.

- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment during event setup and dismantling.

- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Operations Manager or Event Team.
