Leica Camera has been in the frontline of photojournalism and related activities be it the Oskar Barnack Award for high quality reportage photography or presenting photographs taken by international photographers through its galleries that offer access to life’s hidden stories. In Germany, we build the world’s finest cameras and nurture the true, iconic soul of photography.
Role and responsibilities include day-to-day marketing & PR related duties:
- Event planning and implementation
- Liaison and prompt follow-up with partners and vendors
- Logistics, loans, inventory and CRM management
- On-the-job photography opportunities and photo asset management
- Generating monthly event, retail marketing and PR reports
- Administrative support and ad-hoc duties
Pre-requisites:
- Desire to pursue a career in Marketing / Branding
- Diploma undergraduate, graduate and/or marketing, design, business, art-related programme(s)
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator preferred
- Good command of oral and written English
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective time management, highly disciplined, conscientious, proactive and a self-starter
- Keen interest in and/or understanding of photography and luxury brands is a plus
Ability to start immediately or on short notice is an advantage.
The position is based on a 3 to 6 months contractual period; extension of contract subject to performance.
