Medical / Nursing Intern (No experience neccesary)
We are looking for Medical / Nursing Interns to join our team, no experience necessary
- Observe registered nurses performing their day-to-day duties.
- Get direct exposure to the hours and shifts that nurses work, their interactions with peers and patients, and their responsibilities.
- Help patients with daily living activities, such as eating and hygiene. Assist registered nurses with their duties.
- Feeding
- Bathing and dressing patients
- Taking vital signs
- Recording medical histories
- Reporting unusual findings to nurses
- Assist Physiotherapist in daily exercises (bedside / outdoor / walking)
- Accompany patients to medical appointments
- Special projects assigned by SN related to quality improvement
