LC Nursing Home is looking for a bright and talented Design intern who can contribute directly to the new design (branding / online / physical) of the nursing home. This challenging role requires an all-rounder who can dream, visualise and communicate clearly through words or art. By the end of this project, you will grow your repertoire of skills in branding, public relations, digital marketing, and even interior design. 

Job Description

Design Intern

  1. Brand research and analysis
    • Research market trends, inform branding strategy
    • Suggest improvements
  2. Visual identity development
    • Create visual elements that reflect and enhance the brand
    • Assist in development of logos/colour schemes/typography etc
  3. Content creation
    • Develop written and visual content that aligns with brand voice
    • Create content guidelines for various platforms
    • Assist in creation of content bank
  4. Social media management
    • Create social media calendar
    • Monitor metrics
  5. Brand guidelines
    • Develop brand guidelines
  6. Physical building and interior design
  7. Support marketing activities

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in marketing, communications or design. 
  • Have a soft spot for the elderly
  • Can communicate clearly either through words or art (or both!)
  • Full of new ideas
  • Enthusiastic about branding
  • Proficient in design tools and software (Adobe / Procreate etc)
