Reporting into the Head of Vendor Acquisition (VA), your responsibilities will include:
- Work with Lazada’s outbound sales team to develop interested vendors to sell on Lazada
- Pitch Lazada as a strong selling platform to vendors and increase awareness and interest to use
- Work closely with local category managers (LCMs) and the lead generation team to identify assortment gaps and identify vendors to fill these gaps
- Work closely with internal Lazada teams (Operations, marketing, legal etc) to set up account
- Arrange training sessions for seamless onboarding experience for vendors
- Meet or exceed monthly targets set
The ideal candidate should possessed the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Familiarity with MS Office – Excel and Powerpoint, salesforce (an added advantage to have)
- English speaker + at least 1 local language (preferably Mandarin)
- Proven ability to work as a team and independently
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to connect with all levels of individuals
- Results driven and thrive on sales targets set
