Role Overview
As an Event Promoter at Launchpad, you will play a key role in driving attendance, engagement, and visibility for Launchpad’s education events. Whether it’s a university fair, an academic workshop, or a student career seminar, your goal will be to attract the right audiences and ensure each event runs smoothly and successfully. This role combines marketing, communication, and event management skills within a mission-driven organization that values initiative and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Launchpad events through both online and offline channels, including social media, community outreach, and local partnerships.
- Distribute marketing materials such as flyers, posters, and digital content in schools, student hubs, and public spaces.
- Engage directly with potential attendees, providing clear and enthusiastic information about upcoming educational events.
- Support event setup, guest registration, and onsite coordination during live or virtual sessions.
- Report attendee feedback and engagement metrics to the events and marketing team.
- Collaborate with marketing staff to develop localized promotional strategies suited to Singaporean and American student audiences.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Experience in event promotion, marketing, or customer engagement is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as events require.
- Interest in education, youth development, or higher learning advisory services.
Working Conditions
$20 per hour, paid weekly or bi-weekly depending on location.
