To participate and contribute in the recruitment, C&B administration and implementation of HR activities for assigned areas of responsibility in a timely and efficient manner. In addition to following Pedder Group’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Recruitment and Selection
- Manage recruitment activities by ensuring a smooth and effective recruitment process for assigned area of business
- Ensure recruitment activities are carried out timely and within budget
- Recruitment of foreign workers and process work pass
Human Resources Services
- Handle payroll administration
- Maintain staff data
- Administer the company’s C&B review
- Administer the process for new hire (orientation, forms administration, uniform arrangements etc) and exit
- Ensure all HR activities comply with the legal and statutory requirements
- Provide HR reports and statistics in a timely and accurate way (monthly HR report, Attrition Report, Staff Movement Report, Weekly Recruitment Report etc.)
- Promote employee relations through ongoing advice and effective communication
- Undertake any other duties / special assignments as directed
Requirements:
- This is a contract position from January till early June 2021
- Possess at least a Diploma in Human Resource or Administration
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels of staff
- Independent, detail-minded and able to work well under pressure
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
