Job Description

Job Brief

You will be part of Ksubaka’s Campaign team in Singapore, ensuring that our games and applications run perfectly well (we do mean “perfectly”) and get your seal of approval before they are launched on our network of connected tablets. You will work closely with software developers, producers, designers and external studios in an Agile environment to perform mostly manual Web and Mobile testing.

Responsibilities.  You will:

=       Work with the Production team to identify test requirements for each application

=       Cooperate in the definition of User Acceptance criteria (using BDD)

=       Create and maintain test scenarios, for success but also edge cases

=       Perform manual tests on the Ksubaka applications (functional and non-functional tests; exploratory tests) and sometimes on browser-based applications

=       Report clearly and timely to the production team on issues found

=       Communicate clearly within the production team on QA status of the various releases

Requirements.  You have:

=       Experience in web and mobile testing, ideally 3 years in a QA capacity

=       A logical mind, able to clearly formulate success/failure scenarios

=       The endurance to carry out tests until all possible scenarios are exhausted

=       Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to recognise the relative importance of software issues and to prioritise work effectively

=       The intellectual curiosity to go and explore what “looks weird”

=       Experience writing clear test scenarios, understanding of BDD is a strong plus

=       Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello

=       Experience with content management systems and generally comfortable working with proprietary tools,

=       Experience working with Agile methodologies

=       Ability to read and write Mandarin Chinese as many of our campaign experiences are in Mandarin

=       Experience working in international and technology-driven environments

Personality Profile. You are:

=       Thorough and logical, above all

=       Meticulous and systematic

=       Eager to learn and share your knowledge

=       A team player, you make team more efficient, enjoyable

=       Keen on diversity (international company)

=       Pro-active, looking for pragmatic solutions, not winning arguments
