We are seeking a part-time AAO who can allocate 1 day a week for 12 months to support administrative and accounts operations.

Job Description

Part Time Accounts cum Administrative Officer (AAO)

OVERALL JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The AAO supports the CEO in ensuring overall operational efficiency within the organization, with specific responsibility in the management of financial/ human resources operation, ensuring proper records of financial transactions, compliance to legal/statutory requirements and operating procedures. Detail tasks include but is not limited to:

  • Establishing or recommending accounting procedures.
  • Maintain records of financial transactions, posting of records in general ledgers, reconciliation of accounts, and preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Generating delivery orders, invoices & collection of payments from customers.
  • Generating Request for Quotations, Purchase Order and issuance of payments to your suppliers.
  • Maintain proper filing of all documents.
  • Support Human Resource management, payroll, CPF contributions, insurance etc.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate would either be an accounting undergraduate who can commit 1 day a week or a professional seeking part-time work due to family or other commitments. Whilst this is a part-time one day a week engagement, the role could grow into a full day position as the company grows.

Academic qualifications

• 3rd-year Accountancy undergraduates and or

• Accountancy degree and its equivalent.

Skills/Experience

• Experience in bookkeeping and/accounting/financial management

• Team worker with proven communication and people skills.

• Working knowledge of Chinese is a strong advantage

• Candidates with a start-up mentality who enjoy the dynamism/fluidity in the start-up culture would be especially suitable for this role.
