OUR CREATIVE PROCESS
Drawing on the collaborative nature of design, our strength is in engaging the client through understanding their needs and requirements (brief), evaluate the site, optimising its potential by crafting out spaces that enhance its environment and the lives of the inhabitants.From conceptualisation to realisation; the architect’s role is to assist you through these stages, provide professional advice on design, document the design and also act as the intermediary between the client and the contractor (builder). Other responsibilities include ensuring the design complies with building regulations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Kaia Architect is a growing design studio focused on thoughtful, creative and practical architecture. We work on projects that combine design thinking, technical execution and real-world impact.
We are looking for curious, motivated young people who want to learn how architecture projects actually happen — from design ideas to built spaces.
This role is open to Polytechnic / ITE students, interns, or fresh graduates who want hands-on experience in a design studio.
What You Will Do
You will work closely with the team and get exposure to real projects.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting with design concepts and presentations
Preparing drawings and simple 3D models
Supporting project documentation and coordination
Researching materials, precedents and design ideas
Helping prepare client presentations and visuals
Assisting with site visits and project coordination
This is a great opportunity to see how architecture works beyond school projects.
What We’re Looking For
We care more about attitude and curiosity than perfect experience.
You may be:
A Polytechnic or ITE student studying architecture, design or a related field
A fresh graduate looking for your first role in architecture
Someone interested in design, buildings and creative work
Bonus if you have experience with:
AutoCAD
SketchUp / Rhino
Adobe (Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign)
