Jump Eat Cry is a Singapore-based e-commerce store focused on bringing fast fashion into the world of maternity wear. With its very own brand of maternity and nursing wear, Jump Eat Cry is able to create stylish and trendy outfits with new launches weekly.
The company was founded in late 2014 as an online store with the concept of styling mothers into motherhood, the brand has recently launches its first retail outlet and has since become a favourite amongst Singapore's new age mothers as the go-to choice for fashionable clothes suitable for pregnancy and breastfeeding.
As a Fashion Design Intern, you will be creating concepts and styles that suits our customers. You will have the opportunity to churn out design and styles that will be launched in our weekly collections.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Study emerging fashion trends and anticipate designs that will suit and appeal to our customers
Decide on themes for each collection
Making sketches by hand or computer aided programs
Fully understand our customers needs and wants
Select fabrics, compile garment measurements and other related information required
Perform inspection of all samples to meet the company’s specifications
Oversee finalisation and production of the designs
Present ideas to Creative Lead
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Fashion or Design preferred
Strong computer skills including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Word and any other CAD programs.
Strong interest in fashion and design
A good understanding of the Jump Eat Cry Brand
Flexible with fashion style
