Job Description

Juicy Folks is looking for a high-energy and no-task-too-small Finance Trainee with a passion for Food & Beverages and health/wellness to support the finance team for the period of 12 months. This position reports to the Director and interface with Finance staff.

The team focuses on managing the financial backbone of the company and making sure that the financial records are kept up to date. Through this traineeship, you will gain an incredible amount of experience and opportunity to perform various aspects across the finance department.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep the financial records up to date in the accounting system and file the supporting documents.
  • Perform weekly bank reconciliation and petty cash reconciliation.
  • Prepare weekly cashflow forecast
  • Assist in accounts payable and receivable processing
  • Weekly review of aged receivables to assist in AR collection and report on weekly incoming AR
  • Prepare monthly intercompany billings
  • Support the team in monthly management accounts, schedules
  • Assist in month-end closing
  • Track and process staff claims.
  • Assist in process improvement, formulate and implement accounting and financial procedures
  • Assist in other day-to-day accounting activities such as posting of manual journal entries and etc.

Requirement: 

  • Polytechnic Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Meticulous and excellent attention to details
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. PivotTable, VLOOKUP)
  • Passionate about numbers
  • Able to work within tight timeline
  • Juggle multiple projects at once
  • Fast learner and able to learn independently
  • Singaporeans only
