The client is a well known leader(MNc) with regional offices and workforce of more than 3000. Keeping ahead of trends, a new role had been created for this transformation, due to urgency of this role, incumbent whom can converse in Chinese and staying in Singapore will be of higher priority

Requirements 

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management/ Computer Science or relevant field preferablv in the Gas and Chemical Industry.
• Diploma in Engineering or relevant field with > 5 years' relevant experience can be considered.
• Fresh Graduates with relevant internship experience in areas of digital transformation are welcomed to apply
• Exhibit strong initiative to take on additional responsibilities
• Able to work independently and result-oriented.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform is a bonus (PowerBI, PowerAutomate)
• To drive system implementation and to elevate this person as subject matter expert for digital applications.

Specialist - Digitalization / Transformation 

Digital

• Engage with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for digitalization across group
• Seek out and propose new digital initiatives to tackle complex business challenges and accelerate digital transformation across group
• Manage end-to-end digital projects (Mobile Asset Management, Enterprise Asset Management, Remote Operations), including development of interactive visualizations (PowerBl)
• Contribute to development of Digitalization Roadmap.
• Strategies, plan and execute curriculum and activities to raise the awareness and competencies of employees in new digitalization capabilities.
• Act as a subject matter expert for tasks related to digitalization in the group
• Draft guidelines and standards related to digitalization that governs the group

Secondary duties

• Support and coordinate engineering projects related to emerging trends (HyCO, Carbon Neutrality).
• Draft guidelines and standards related to digitalization that governs the group
• Liaise with technical experts and plant/equipment manufacturers to propose feasible solutions to the stakeholders.
• Support in operations data analysis to address operational concerns across the group
• Support as part of the organizing committee to host regional conferences for group
