Job Description

Job Summary

As an Operations Intern at JCI, you will be an essential member of our operations team, involved in various aspects of managing the day-to-day activities within the education/training sector. Your role will be critical in ensuring smooth operations, optimizing processes, and delivering a seamless learning experience. This internship program aims to provide you with hands-on experience in the education industry, giving you the opportunity to develop essential operational skills and make valuable contributions to our mission.

Role & Responsibilities 

  • Student Support: Assist in providing support to students, responding to their queries, and guiding them through the enrollment process.
  • Data Management: Help in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to student enrollment, attendance, and performance for operational insights.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the operations team to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency in delivering educational programs.
  • Classroom Management: Support the setup and coordination of classrooms, ensuring that necessary resources and equipment are available for effective learning sessions.
  • Administrative & Finance Support: Provide administrative assistance in handling paperwork, record-keeping, and other operational tasks.
  • Technology Integration: Collaborate with the IT team to explore and implement technology solutions that enhance educational processes and experiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including trainers, marketing, and admin team, to ensure a cohesive training ecosystem.

Qualifications 

  • Passion for education and a strong interest in contributing to the growth and development of learners.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail for data analysis and process optimization.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with educational technology is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and a positive attitude to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of the education/training industry and current trends is advantageous.
