Our aim is to improve migrant workers' lives, build bridges, and strengthen integration into the broader community using imaginative, innovative, authentic, and nimble strategies. Our raincoat symbolises the protection we provide the workers from their metaphorical thunderstorms. Via various initiatives and inclusion campaigns, we aim to reach out to each of the approximate 700,000 workers in Singapore.

We are seeking a passionate Intern to join our team and assist with our Marketing and NextGen programme.

Job Description

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Marketing and Programme Intern role located in Singapore. The Marketing and Programme Intern will assist in creating and managing social media content, supporting customer service activities, and tracking and analysing campaigns and events as well as support the Nextgen programme coordination with schools and student volunteers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and create engaging content for our social media platforms
  • Assist in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies 
  • Support the team in organising and promoting events and campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our online presence
  • Analyse and report on the performance of social media campaigns
  • Help in building and nurturing our NextGen communities with Volunteers
  • Coordinate communications and donations/ad hoc workshops and events with IRR student mentors and schools
  • Work on Special projects/Campaigns
  • Manage campaign related communications via EDMs/Newsletters
  • Support and Coordinate Media queries and interviews
  • Coordinate activities with schools, volunteers and donors

 

Qualifications

  • Enthusiasm and passion for making a positive difference
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms
  • Proficiency in Canva, Google Suite/Microsoft Office and WordPress
  • Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box
  • Knowledge of digital marketing trends, best practices, poster design skills is a plus
  • Ability to manage and support various campaigns and initiatives
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer service skills to communicate with various stakeholders and assist with inquiries
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing practices
