- Job Description
The successful incumbent will support the AML/KYC function across the region and gain exposure to a broad range of client due diligence, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring activities. The scope of work will be performed in accordance with IQ-EQ's internal AML/CFT framework, as well as applicable international and domestic AML/CFT regulations and guidelines. This role will support both fund administration and corporate segments.
What you’ll do
- You'll support investor and client AML/KYC onboarding, periodic reviews, ongoing monitoring, and due diligence activities across fund administration and corporate services clients.
- You'll review and verify client documentation, including identification documents, source of funds, source of wealth information, sanctions screening results, adverse media findings, and other AML/KYC requirements.
- You'll liaise with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders to obtain and follow up on outstanding AML/KYC documentation.
- You'll maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within internal systems and databases.
- You'll assist in preparing documentation and reports required for regulatory, compliance, audit, and internal review purposes.
- You'll identify and escalate potential AML/KYC concerns, discrepancies, or high-risk matters to senior team members where appropriate.
- You'll support ongoing monitoring and periodic review activities to ensure client records remain current and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- You'll stay informed on AML/CFT regulations, internal policies, and industry developments through training and self-development.
- You'll contribute to process improvement initiatives and support additional compliance, risk, and client service activities as required.
- You'll work closely with colleagues across Compliance, Fund Administration, and Corporate Services teams to support the delivery of high-quality client service.

About you
Qualifications
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with up to 2 years of experience in AML/KYC, compliance, fund administration, banking, or financial services; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- You possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- You demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for supporting Mandarin-speaking clients.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and can use them effectively to support business and compliance-related tasks.
Preferred but not required
- Internship or academic exposure to AML/KYC, compliance, risk, banking, financial services or fund administration.
- Basic understanding of AML/CFT principles and regulations.
- Professional certifications such as ICA or ACAMS would be advantageous but are not required.
