Job Description

We are looking for a digitally savvy digital project intern who is interested in learning the ropes of the art industry and helping to push the boundaries through digital and technological means.

As a Digital Project Intern you will:

*Work closely with a team of professional gallerists, artists; designers, developers

*Learn how to work in a dynamic and cross-functional project environment

*Hone your analytical skills and learn how to deal with artists and clients effectively

Responsibilities:

RESEARCH/ GRANT WRITING

  • Under the guidance of the general manager of iPreciation, research into digital silent auctions and other relevant business models for the art market of the 21st century
  • With learnings and insights from the research, craft a grant pitch for a digital auction-based marketplace solution, well-suited for the art market.
  • The proposal should be able to articulate the problem statement that we hope to address, and how the transformation outcome would have an impact on the art sector in Singapore and beyond.

RAPID PROTOTYPING/ TESTING (PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT)

  • Be part of key team in creating a working prototype of the digital marketplace
  • Work with cross-functional teams - designers, web development, and business development for digital projects.
  • Conduct and document acceptance/UI tests and results.
  • Upload content required for the marketplace
  • Collaborate with the development team to support the digital project, diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Assist in writing technical specifications relating to content management system.
  • Liaise with current pool of artists to engage them in digital transformation work
  • Extend sphere of collaboration with other galleries, artists and platforms

DIGITAL MARKETING

  • Outreach to PR/ Media Outlets/ Social Media to increase awareness and engagement of the art marketplace
  • Draft circulars, blogs and memos for regular engagements on social media, emailers etc
  • Engage with clients and potential customers online and off

MUST HAVE SKILLS

  • Project coordination
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
  • Microsoft projects (Word, PPT)
  • Web Design

NICE TO HAVE

  • Basic HTML
  • CSS
  • Web development
  • 3rd Party platforms such as WIX, WordPress,
  • Overview of existing Online Silent Auction software and APIs
  • Knowledge of art industry is a bonus
