Invigilo Technologies – Software Engineering Intern

Invigilo is a deep-tech startup that is developing an IoT and Video Analytics platform for boosting worksite productivity and safety. As a Software Engineer at Invigilo, your main focus will be mobile and web app development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a native mobile app using React Native

• Translating business requirements, designs and wireframes into high quality code

• Build reusable components optimised for different types of mobile devices

• Integrate the mobile app with Amazon Web Services APIs and web application dashboard (in ReactJS)

What we look out for:

• Share in our vision to transform the industrial safety landscape through the use of Artificial Intelligence.

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Mathematics preferred.

• Previous startup experience is desirable.

• At least 1 year experience in Web App/Mobile App development.

• Proficiency in JavaScript & React Native, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.

• Knowledge on popular React workflows like Redux.

• Familiar with RESTful APIs and serverless computing platforms like AWS Lambda.

• Knowledge on data structure libraries.

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.

• Familiar with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.

• Knowledge with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

• Experience with software development version control platforms like Git.

• Knowledge on ReactJS (web application development) is a plus.
