Job Description
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Responsible for the timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing for the management accounts, ensuring that the financial statements are properly supported and reconciled
- Managing a partial spectrum of accounting functions such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger
- Prepare adjustments to ensure that revenue recognition for projects with multiple progress milestones complies with the relevant accounting principles
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports
- Assist in monthly bank reconciliation
- Assist in GST reviews and reporting
- Verify and process staff expense claims and reimbursement
- Processing of refunds
- Assist with other ad-hoc finance-related projects
Requirements
- Minimum Higher Nitec in Accounting or equivalent
- Able to work independently under general supervision, with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgement
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Detailed-oriented
- Able to meet dateline and work effectively under pressure
- Able to commit weekends and/or OT
