Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance and Operations person to oversee the smooth functioning of our high-growth startup. You are someone who loves numbers, is familiar with handling complex startup financials, have an eye for detail, and a passion to fix errors in excel sheets.  

Your day to day job will involve:

Finance management:

  • Check and submit employees’ claims such as timesheets, leave/MC applications, transport claims and other miscellaneous claims for approval
  • Manage payroll and related matters
  • Manage filing and documentation of the company’s expenses
  • Liaise with our corporate secretary for statutory filings
  • Prepare tax returns and perform other bookkeeping services with our accounting partner 
  • Ensure financial recording accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards, procedures and internal controls on a monthly basis
  • Ensure monthly P&L sheet to be shared with lead investor and observers

Administrative management:

  • Provide managerial support in scheduling meetings and appointments for founders and business development executives
  • Onboard new hires and ensure they are fully set up to perform their duties effectively
  • Manage smooth functioning of the shared office space
  • Book flights, hotels, and make other travel arrangements for executives from time to time
  • Always be in contact with the founder and coordinate operations related duties daily
