InterVaal is a medical device start-up developing a novel catheter with enhanced capability in preventing catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI) - a widespread and costly side-effect of modern healthcare.

Job Description

Assist senior engineer:

• Identify design requirements and develop medical devices, accessories, and packaging to meet those requirements
• Manage production and assembly of prototypes, tooling and test equipment
• Design for Manufacturing
• Plan and execute validation activities to ensure products will reliably meet design requirements at production scale
• Create or maintain solidworks models, technical drawings and specifications
• Support in other ad-hoc activities

Required Skills

• Pursuing a bachelors or higher degree in mechanical engineering, bio-medical engineering or other similar technical field
• Independent problem solving with a structured and well-documented approach
• Interpersonal communication skills
• Operation of basic laboratory equipment
• 3D modelling in Solidworks or similar programs
• Technical drafting, GD&T
