Legal Internship

Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Counsel for Asia-Pacific, you will be mainly responsible for:
-Legal research on topics required by the team, both under Singapore law and under the laws of other countries in Asia
-Preparing, reviewing and proof-reading day-to-day agreements (confidentiality, agency, distribution, supply) under the guidance of the team
-Assisting our paralegal on ensuring corporate compliance for all our companies in Asia
Profile of Candidate:
In order to succeed in this role, you should ideally:
-Have a keen interest in corporate / commercial matters
-Be currently studying law and preferably have studied a company law module
-Have a good understanding of legal principles
-Have strong interpersonal skills and be a team player, with a "solution finder" mind-set
-Have an interest in other jurisdictions in the region
-Competence in any of the following languages is a strong advantage: Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese (Bahasa M. or I. and French are also a plus)
