IFS Capital Limited – Data & AI Engineer

We are a growing Singapore-based financial institution specialising in Accounts Receivable Purchase (ARP) solutions. Our mission is to help businesses optimise their cash flow and working capital through efficient and flexible financing options. 

We are seeking for a dedicated Data & AI Engineer talent to join our Data Team at IFS Capital in Singapore. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong passion for data and eager to gain hands-on experience to expand project exposures, especially in the field of data pipeline, management and with possibilities to touch base on AI-related Workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Build database schemas, mappings, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows.

• Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines and perform API integration.

• Preprocess raw data to ensure consistency, quality, and usability.

• Optimize data storage for cost-effectiveness and performance.

• Govern data backup & recovery, data encryption and data integrity.

• Configure AI Agent workflow to auto-fetch data from documents and web-searching.

Requirements:

• Must be able to commit full-time (5-day work week) for at least 5 months.

• Students pursuing Degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, information technology, mathematics, physics, or any related discipline.

• Strong problem-solving & analytical skills, critical thinking and resourceful.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficient in SQL and Python.

• Familiar with REST APIs (e.g. Flask, Django, etc.)

• Familiar with AI Agent Workflow

• Good knowledge of Database

• Good knowledge of Cloud Computing i.e AWS, Azure, Google Cloud is a plus.

• Good knowledge of Snowflake, Tableau, ETL tools, Github is a plus.
