Job Title: Web Design Intern
Responsibilities:
1) Website Design and Development:
- Assist in the design and development of websites for clients across various industries.
- Translate client requirements and marketing objectives into visually compelling and responsive web designs.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team and clients to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and strategic goals.
- To manage existing WordPress websites
- To assist in creating mock-ups for web applications and mobile apps
2) UX/UI Design
- Contribute to the creation of intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
- Implement best practices in UI/UX design to optimize website usability and accessibility.
- Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
3) Content Management:
- Support the creation and management of website content, including text, images, and multimedia assets.
- Ensure content is well-organized, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines and user engagement.
4) Website Maintenance and Optimization:
- Assist in the maintenance and updates of existing websites to ensure functionality and performance.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness through design and technical improvements.
5) Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of website designs across different devices and browsers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Knowledge of WordPress and Wix is a must
• Strong communicative skills
• Good listening & creative problem-solving skills
• Eager to learn and able to grasp concepts fast
Full-time internship is preferred. However, we are open to part-time internship positions.
Full-time: Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 5:30pm.
Part-time: Min 3 full days per week.
