Iamplus Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd – Annotation Analyst (Intern)

Looking for: Annotation Analyst 

As part of the Iamplus Annotation Team youʼll play a central role in enhancing the Omega experience. As an Annotation Analyst, youʼll review the training data that we have received from the crowd workers for a particular use case. Review basically means checking if the user query is a match the use case they provided the data and attaching tags to contents. Youʼll use your business knowledge and analytical skills to evaluate responses against guidelines.

Skills: 

• Good command of English - you have to be able to comprehend our requirements and identify unrelated data

• Meticulous and detailed

• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel

• Preferred background: Have experience filtering training data

• Review audio data and corresponding transcript and group them under various categories (this task will require a Mac machine)

• Test the app via UI or voice using a given set of test cases/ data

• Python scripting would be a big plus 

• Be able to create some data for testing and also add annotations.

• Preferred major: English, English Literature, Linguistics (other majors are welcome to apply if you have good command of English)

Commitment:

• At least 5 days a week, minimum 5 hours a day (we work 5 days, 8 hours a day)

• Commit at least 3 months

• Our office is 5 mins walk from Marymount Station, but for the time-being due to covid situation, it will be remote work. You may be required to work from office later on.
