In Firemark Singapore, we test, build and scale enterprise propositions that are unproven but have the potential to deliver new risk insights or enable adjacent market entry, when the opportunity is made possible by new forms (or uses) of data, artificial intelligence or emerging technologies. Our process is to scan the market, build a POC in-house so that we learn by doing, then take these learnings to assess what and how to build, buy or partner. We support IAG’s goal to become data driven and creating a safer world, but have the freedom to go beyond when we see transformative opportunities.

• Position Description:
  • Work alongside Data Scientists and data engineers in various projects in the lab
  • Support in the area’s of market research, data validation and hypothesis testing across the various projects
  • Work with Data Scientists to support data building, scoring, monitoring and reporting
  • Learn and stay abreast of new technologies that can improve the efficacy of the analytics and data science teams
  • Ad-hoc analyses of internal datasets
  • Support the teams with documentation and reviews

• Requirements: 
  • Initiative to overcome challenges and gaps in knowledge and experience
  • Passion and aptitude for problem solving and data science
  • Good interpersonal skills, including ability to understand and communicate analytical information clearly
  • Experience in software development (python, Java..), not mandatory but useful
