Your role
At Hypotenuse, interns aren’t here to sit on the sidelines or buy coffee. We empower you to make decisions, contribute creatively and think critically. We want self-starters who are entrepreneurial and want a taste of working in a high-growth, fast-moving start-up.
The operations intern will work across different business functions, ranging from operations, marketing and business development. If you are passionate about the core processes that drive start-ups and growing the company, this role is for you.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct in-depth research on industry-related, technical topics to pinpoint market opportunities
- Support in the planning of company initiatives and ensure the overall welfare of the team
- Understand the needs of each user, provide email/chat support and log feedback that will give us actionable insights for our product and roadmap
- Work directly with the founding team in executing growth strategies for the company
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across tech, marketing and sales to support internal initiatives
Requirements:
- Ideally can commit at least 6 months
- Self-starter with a bias for action to get things done, and isn’t discouraged by failure or mistakes
- Excellent oral and written communication competency
- Meticulous, logical and able to crunch numbers
- Fast learner who can adapt quickly to changes and work both independently and collaboratively
- Any of the following skills is a big plus: Product/Graphic Design/UIUX, Content writing
- Experience in start-ups, or in a project management/marketing/data analytics role (ideally in tech) is a plus
