Position: Fitness Gym Administrator
Reports To: Gym Manager
Job Summary:
The Fitness Gym Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficient management of the gym. This role involves a combination of administrative, customer service, and organizational responsibilities to create a welcoming and functional gym environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Front Desk Management:
- Greet and assist gym members and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about gym services.
- Handle membership sign-ups, renewals, and membership-related inquiries.
2. Membership Database:
- Maintain and update member records and databases accurately.
- Ensure accurate billing and collections of membership fees.
- Assist with the resolution of member issues related to membership accounts.
3. Facility Maintenance:
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and order in the gym.
- Coordinate with cleaning staff for regular maintenance and cleanliness.
- Report equipment malfunctions or repair needs to the maintenance team.
4. Customer Service:
- Address member inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide assistance with fitness class schedules and program information.
- Assist in resolving member disputes or issues.
5. Administrative Tasks:
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and paperwork.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on membership statistics and activities.
- Support the gym manager and team in various administrative tasks as required.
6. Sales and Promotions:
- Assist with sales and promotions of gym memberships and services.
- Encourage prospective members to join and participate in gym programs.
7. Safety and Security:
- Ensure the security of the gym by monitoring access and verifying member IDs.
- Follow safety protocols and assist in emergency situations.
Working hours : Mon to Fri - 11am to 7pm
Sat - 9am to 1pm
