Hope Initiative Alliance (HIA) is an inter-racial and inter-religious charity organisation that aims to provide holistic care for the marginalised local communities and international migrant workers in Singapore. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Officer (Intern), Special Projects and Events.

Job Description

As an intern, you will work closely with the various project leads to plan, execute and evaluate various events and initiatives to meet the objectives for the various beneficiaries that HIA serves. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in planning, organising and implementing various events and projects, such as fundraising campaigns, community outreach programs, and awareness-raising initiatives
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify potential partners, sponsors and donors for HIA's events and projects
  • Prepare and disseminate event materials, including invitations, marketing materials, and social media content
  • Assist in the logistics and execution of events, including venue setup, registration, and event coordination
  • Work collaboratively with others to ensure successful implementation of events and projects
  • Support the development and implementation of evaluation strategies to measure the impact and effectiveness of HIA's events and initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as required for events
  • Passionate about HIA's mission and values
