Hong Leong Asia Ltd.’s Building Materials unit (BMU) is one of the largest suppliers of essential building materials to the construction industry of Singapore. BMU sells all grades of ready-mixed concrete out of seven separate locations in Singapore. It is also the largest producer of precast concrete elements for public housing construction, all of which are fabricated in its factories in Singapore and Senai, Malaysia.BMU imports and distributes cement in Singapore and also operates a granite quarry in Johor, Malaysia. Job Description
  • Recruitment Support: Assist with job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
  • Records Management: Organize, update, and maintain accurate employee records and digital files.
  • HR Digitization: Support the transition to paperless HR processes through document scanning and digital filing.
  • Compliance: Ensure employee records adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Employee Engagement: Help plan and execute engagement initiatives, events, and internal communications.
  • Training & Development: Assist in coordinating training sessions, tracking participation, and managing logistics.
  • Administrative Support: Handle incoming and outgoing HR correspondence and assist with ad-hoc HR projects.

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Human Resources.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
