We are a digital agency based in Singapore that specialises in creating user-centric websites and mobile applications for businesses worldwide. Hipster Inc. consults with companies of diverse industries to create websites, mobile applications and other software solutions. 

We are looking for a new Sales Development Intern (Must be PR or Singaporean). You will be working in a company with a flat hierarchy and in a culture that advocates straight-talk. 

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the BD team to explore different use-cases of our state-of-the-art quantum gravimeter and identify target markets.

  • Validate the target markets to discover the early adopters and the right nodes in the different customer segments

  • Model the value of the service/application for the different markets identified and create market intelligence reports

  • Conduct extensive hypothesis testing while managing clientele located on all corners of the world and working within a multicultural team

  • Generate leads through research and cold emails (cold calling where necessary)

  • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)

  • Help to attend marketing and networking events.

  • Excellent in Storytelling in business

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Google docs and Google spreadsheets 

  • Passion for the marketing & sales industry and its best practices

  • Current enrollment in a related diploma or bachelor's degree. 

  • Comfortable selling to, influencing and building trust-based, value-added relationships with senior executives.

  • Able to solve problems and manage ambiguity using common sense and essential business acumen.

  • Excellent project management skills. Able to sense issue criticality and escalate them to garner urgency in the team.

  • Ability to work in an independent, fast-paced startup environment and be comfortable with ambiguity

Even better if you have

  • A background in business or related field.

  • Worked in an early-stage company environment

  • Worked on any kind of sales (B2B preferred)
