We are looking for a hands-on engineering intern to help us improve the annotation platform used by our data team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend and backend features for the internal video annotation platform.
- Improve core platform workflows and user experience.
- Improve annotation templates to support new tasks more efficiently.
- Maintain databases and improve platform stability, reliability, and scalability.
- Build simple integrations with external tools to improve workflow automation.
- Use AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex to improve development efficiency while keeping the code reliable.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Some experience with frontend and backend development.
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
- Basic experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
- Able to debug issues and improve existing systems.
- Comfortable working with imperfect systems and unclear requirements.
- Strong ownership and good communication skills.
