Job Description

As an Architectural Designer Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design and development of architectural projects under the guidance of our experienced team. This internship is designed to provide exposure to various aspects of the design process, from concept development to project completion. You will contribute to real-world projects and collaborate with a team of professionals to bring innovative design solutions to life.

Responsibilities:

Design Development: Assist in the conceptualization and development of architectural designs through sketches, 3D models, and renderings.

CAD Drafting: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings and construction documents.

Research and Analysis: Conduct research on materials, construction techniques, and industry trends to contribute valuable insights to the design process.

Collaboration: Work closely with architects, project managers, and other team members to contribute to a collaborative and creative work environment.

Presentation Skills: Prepare and participate in design presentations, effectively communicating ideas to both internal teams and clients.

Site Visits: Attend site visits to gain practical knowledge of construction processes and project implementation.

Problem Solving: Contribute to problem-solving efforts by offering creative solutions and adapting to evolving project requirements.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited architecture or design program.

Proficiency in CD software (AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, etc.) and other design tools.

Strong visual and verbal communication skills.

Basic understanding of architectural principles and design processes.

Eagerness to learn and a passion for innovative design solutions.

Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
