What to Expect :During this program, you will have the exclusive opportunity to learn and interact with a diverse panel of seasoned professionals, including:
1. Investment Consultants: Tap into the expertise of industry veterans who will guide you through the intricacies of investment strategies, risk management, and portfolio diversification
2. Asset Managers: Discover the art of optimizing assets to maximize returns, as our asset managers share their secrets to building robust investment portfolios. Some of our speaker Asset Managers are from listed companies and bring with them a wealth of experience in the investment arena
3. Legal Experts: Gain insights into the legal aspects of finance, ensuring candidates understand some aspects of finance that are related to law
4. Corporate Business Consultants: Delve into the world of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and business strategy, unlocking the keys to successful corporate decision-making. During the program, candidates will also be introduced to corporate solutions, business contracts formation and etc
5. Business Leader and strategist: One of our guest speakers is a seasoned business strategist and has led in corporate and public settings. Also a business owner, he has been invited to numerous talks and seminars on the subject of corporate communications, human management and leadership, on top of been a Chief Consultant for business strategy and operations
6. Personal Investment and Wealth Management: Understand how high net worth individuals today use a string of sophisticated instruments (What are fixed coupon notes, corporate bonds, dual-currency notes etc) to generate income through dividends/coupons, grow their capital and plan for their estate distribution.
Shortlisted candidates during the program may be tasked to analyse/provide/generate reports relating to
- Market Trends: Dive deep into the world of finance by researching and analyzing current market trends. Develop a keen understanding of market dynamics and investment opportunities
- Weekly Market Updates: Contribute to our team by assisting in the writing of weekly market update reports. Sharpen your communication and analytical skills while keeping our audience informed.
Shortlisted candidates will also join our exclusive group consisting of subject matter experts for market discussions from time to time. Such weekly updates may be produced in the forms of videos/write ups
Internship Experience: Get ready to embark on an exciting internship journey with our expert speakers. Gain hands-on experience, apply your knowledge, and build a network. Internship positions may be offered during the insights program to selected individuals
Criteria:
i. Graduates, Undergraduates, “A” Levels holders, Diploma/ ITE welcome
ii. Keen interest to learn (with specifics to learning about income generation methods using businesses/investment instruments)
iii. Team player (Ability to resolve conflict, support and collaborate)
iv. Strong communication and analytical skills
v. Interest in investment and basic knowledge of investment will be preferred, although not necessary
Position 2: Podcast Host
As a Podcast Host with us, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and informative content to our audience. You will be responsible for discussing a wide range of financial topics, breaking down complex concepts, and making them relatable to our listeners. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Hosting and co-hosting podcast episodes
- Collaborating with our production team to develop compelling scripts
- Conducting interviews and discussions with experts and guests which may include asset managers, lawyers, corporate secretarial consultants and etc
- Bringing a fresh and energetic approach to every episode
- Ensuring the content is engaging, educational, and entertaining
- Staying up-to-date with the latest financial trends and news
- Researching into instruments under the guidance of subject matter experts on areas such as Business and consultancy, personal finance and investments, sophisticated products (such as Fixed coupon notes investments, dual currency notes, etc)
Qualifications: We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
An undergraduate degree, polytechnic diploma, or completed 'A' levels
A strong interest in finance, investments, and related topics
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to speak eloquently
A bubbly and cheerful personality that shines through in your hosting
Quick wit and the ability to think on your feet
Strong research skills to prepare for discussions and interviews
A genuine passion for educating and entertaining through podcasting
Position 3: Contents Strategist Assistant
Are you passionate about creating engaging and visually captivating content? Do you have a flair for storytelling and a desire to learn more about the dynamic worlds of business, corporate consultancy, personal finance, Investment or lifestyle? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated and creative Content Creator Assistants to join our team at Harvest. As a Content Creator Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in producing high-quality content that resonates with our audience. You will have the opportunity to work with software like Powtoon (Or similar), engage in video editing, and explore diverse content niches, including business, corporate consultancy, personal finance, and lifestyle (Travel/food/Luxury).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with content creators and editors to brainstorm, create, and edit compelling multimedia content. Utilize software like Powtoon to produce captivating animated videos
- Assist in video editing and post-production to enhance the visual appeal of content
- Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends related to your chosen niche (business, corporate consultancy, personal finance, or lifestyle)
- Contribute innovative ideas for content development, helping to maintain a fresh and engaging online presence
- Work closely with the team to ensure content aligns with our brand identity and objectives.
Qualifications:
- ITE/Nitec/Diploma/”A” levels
- Basic knowledge and proficiency in Powtoon or similar animation software
- Experience in video editing and post-production is a plus. Basic experience in editing a must
- A strong interest in and willingness to learn about one or more of the following niches: business, corporate consultancy, personal finance, lifestyle (Travel/food/Luxury)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.Self-motivated with a passion for content creation.
