HalalTrip – Social Media Intern

Brief Description: 

The role of Social Media Intern is to support the Marketing team in the curation of Muslim friendly travel content published on the HalalTrip and CrescentRating website and social channels. This could be in the form of storytelling through info-videos or content development for marketing materials.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Develop social media content and assist to execute social media strategy for owned channels
• Plan and implement compelling social media content for the social channels
• Manage existing communities using media platforms including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and Newsletter
• Brainstorm creative content strategy
• Assist with research for content planning
• Conceptualize the social posts and schedule the content calendar
• Ensure the timelines for content creation and client approval
• Oversee examining and interpreting Google analytics
• Monitor traffic to social channels
