Job Description

About The Job
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, marketing-focused intern for the summer (and potentially longer) who is driven to build a career in the realm of digital marketing consulting.

  • Work arrangements: starts at 5 days per week, convertible part-time as semester starts

Job Scope

  • Own and manage a few full end-to-end client relationships and project management and execution process, including scoping of requirements, client communications, and proposed marketing strategies.
  • Propose, write and implement strategies and content development work for clients on websites (web copywriting and blog articles) and social media (graphics, videos, reels).
  • Full development of content in line with best practices, brand guidelines, and creative standards, with the help of experts and AI or other tech tools.
  • Brainstorm, scheduling, posting, management, and data collection of the content pieces co-created and approved.
  • Run Google and Facebook Ad campaigns from start to end, inclusive of keyword and competitor research, copywriting, bidding, and ad optimization.
  • User Interface/User Experience - work closely with in-house and external experts in fulfilling client requirements and other project necessities. 
  • Project management: creating, exporting, and sending of weekly reports of marketing and campaign data and development of insights/actions for clients, and consulting them on changes to be made.
  • Managing other broad marketing tools for clients, such as email/SMS/WhatsApp marketing tools, Google My Business, other platforms, etc.
  • Generating necessary creatives for the above platforms
  • Identify and suggest potential marketing partnerships for client projects and for the agency business itself.
  • Work on in-house venture studio brands, including e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands in home and lifestyle

Requirements

  • Your major does not matter, but if you are pursuing or graduated from a degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications, this role may suit your curriculum a bit more.
  • You have an interest and understanding of e-commerce, retail, and D2C marketing, and want to start your career in this space, eventually becoming a mogul in the industry.
  • You are hence unfazed against the backdrop of a fast-moving and unforgiving business climate, and have a life-defining unwillingness to remain ordinary.
  • You have strong creative skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual details: you are able to spot when advertising billboards are 2mm off, your friends sometimes call you mad for that, but you’re proud of it.
  • And this means you have extremely high standards of pride in work and level of detail, even to an extent of OCD when it comes to any work you are submitting. You are simply a perfectionist.
  • You are an ‘over-communicator’ – which means you are always 120% clear, using concise and unambiguous communication methods at all times.
  • You have a natural flair when it comes to graphic design, content writing, and creative campaigns, and is also highly logical with the ability to deep-dive web/social analytics
  • You should have managed the full spectrum of social media pages before, including strategizing and execution of the social media calendar.
  • While being creative, you are also detail- and data-oriented, and have the ability to propose, implement, and tell stories all while using data to build a coherent case.
  • This means that you not just excel in designing and art, but also mathematical and scientific methods.
  • You prioritise executing over planning/talking, with an absolute bias for action. You are also highly resourceful, able to learn in a nonlinear way, and inhumanely resilient.
  • Hence, you ideally have a portfolio of previous work that you are proud to show.
  • Technical skills include: WordPress, Wix, ActiveCampaign/MailChimp, Meta Business, Google Ads, Canva, Figma, PhotoShop, ChatGPT (prompt engineering).
  • You do not crumble under stress. To show this, prior experience in a similar role might be telltale, and would be even better if you have anecdotal proof that you are an Olympic wearer of many hats.
