Job Description

Role Description:

We are Grey Singapore, aiming to build the best 21st-century agency, on a foundation of Famously Effective work and with a culture that’s fast, collaborative and fearless in pursuit of ideas that go beyond advertising.

Grey Singapore is looking for interns to work with our Planning team.
Great! But what does that mean?!?

At Grey Singapore, planners collaborate with account managers and creative teams to make ideas with impact – brand impact, business impact, cultural impact. (This is what our global slogan “Famously effective since 1917” is talking about.) Our specific contribution? To understand how the client’s business problem, the consumer’s needs/wants/interests, and the client’s product or service should intersect.

It’s a big, fun responsibility. We think it’s the best job in the agency – even if the word “planning” doesn’t exactly sing.

By the way, “planning” is called that because it’s all about defining, developing and defending a plan for how a brand’s communications should work. Your role? To help us do that, by researching problems, finding relevant cases, gathering data and assembling persuasive presentations.

If you don’t have previous planning experience, no problem. But you should at least possess some knowledge of how marketing communications work today, a keen interest in what makes people respond to some ideas and not to others, and the ability to work with focus and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

As for us, Grey Singapore is on a roll – we’ve won numerous Agency of the Year accolades and even more creative and effectiveness awards. And if you want to do good while you do well, you’ll like knowing that we are also APAC’s most awarded agency for healthcare communications.

But the best part is, we know we haven’t got it all figured out yet. Which is why we want to meet you.
